BLM Political Action Committees

Business Leaders for Michigan (BLM) operates two political action committees to support state and local state level candidates who support the Michigan Turnaround Plan.  The Michigan Turnaround Plan is a holistic, fact-based strategy developed to make Michigan a “top ten” state for job, economic and personal income growth. Contributions to BLM PACs are not eligible for charitable deductions for tax returns.

The BLM PAC is an independent political committee formed pursuant to the Michigan Campaign Finance Act for the primary purpose of contributing to state and local candidates. This PAC is funded by the personal contributions of BLM's members. The BLM PAC II is a political committee formed pursuant to the Michigan Campaign Finance Act for the purpose of making independent expenditures in support of or opposition to state candidates and issues and can accept corporate dollars.
