Doug Rothwell has worked as an executive in the public, private and non-profit sectors having worked for three state Governors and two Fortune 500 companies. As President & CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan, a business roundtable of the state's top 75 CEOs, he has led efforts to make Michigan a top ten state for job, economic and personal income growth through state policy changes and privately-led economic development initiatives.
Chief Operating Officer
Sabrina Keeley is Chief Operating Officer for Business Leaders for Michigan responsible for overseeing the execution of the organization's work plan, including its policy advocacy and economic development initiatives. Sabrina has led attracting more federal resources back to the region, organizing the development of the Detroit Aerotropolis and developing the Detroit Creative Corridor.
Vice President, Government Affairs & Public Policy
Tim Sowton is Vice President, Governement Affairs & Public Policy for Business Leaders for Michigan responsible for policy advocacy, policy development, and supporting the organization’s economic development efforts.
Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Kelly Chesney is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Business Leaders for Michigan, her responsibilities include managing and facilitating media relations, as well as integrating marketing and communications strategies that support and advance the organization’s mission.
Director of Administration & Outreach
Jennifer Hayes, Director of Administration & Outreach for Business Leaders for Michigan, is responsible for managing events and special projects. Jennifer also conducts research for the organization and assists with policy and legislative efforts.
Executive Assistant
Donna Salive serves as executive assistant at Business Leaders for Michigan. Donna provides support to the president and vice president and coordination for the Board of Directors and committees. She also supports the organization's communications operations. Prior to joining Business Leaders for Michigan, she was executive assistant and office manager at Comcast Cable in Michigan.
Special Assistant for Projects
Diane Warner serves as the Special Assistant for Projects at Business Leaders for Michigan. She provides administrative and project support on a variety projects pertaining to BLM events, board meetings, and communication and policy efforts.
